I have developed a streamlined methodology to make your experience as simple and straightforward as possible. The Estate planning process begins with the client filling out my information form. This provides all of the data needed to create your estate plan. Once the data has been filled in, we will meet to discuss your estate plan and any special objectives you may have. I will answer your questions and explain the need for each document and guide you to create the documents you need. Often a client will come in thinking they need a Trust. Often, they do not need a Trust and I explain how they can meet their needs without a Trust. If you are looking to create your estate plan, download my Planning Form, below, to get started!
If you have suffered the loss of a loved one, I will guide you through the administration process. If we have worked on your Estate Plan together, there is a high degree of likelihood that a probate estate will not need to be opened. In that event the process is fairly simple. If we must open a probate estate, then there will usually be a number of forms to be filled and signed. I will guide you in obtaining and providing to me the information needed to fill out the forms and to administer the estate. I will fill out all forms and have you sign what is needed. I will attend all hearings and it is unlikely you will need to go to court at anytime. Many of the forms can be filed electronically, greatly reducing the time and expense.
If your or a parent need special services we will work with you to sort out the needs and to protect assets as much as we can during your time of need.
